It’s Coffee-Time.

We shot this promotional teaser for Coffee-Time. Our goal was to capture the free-flowing, Cocktail-esque skills of a barista in full flow.

Of course, if you’ve watched the clip you might notice there is a guest appearance. We were asked to add some sort of intrigue to the shoot, and what did we come up with? We came up with borrowing someone’s pet lizard. Yep, real lizard, no VFX here.

(No lizards were harmed in the making of this film.)

They say to never work with children or animals, but Gizzy the Lizard was a breeze to work with; we’re casting them in our next feature.

Lizards aside, we were really able to show off some camera work (those are real rotations) and snappy editing. Our barista got the creamy-flair right first time, then we made him do it again and again so everyone got a good cup.

Our client used this trailer on their social media, they were able to increase interactions with their account by 457%, and that translated into a sales increase over the coming weeks of 13%.
